As with any beaches, we recommend double checking the local pages to see what rules are in place for dogs in and out of season. In Bude we are lucky to have a wide selection of beaches, so you will always find somewhere to run the dog while the sun goes down. Here are a few of our favourites:

  • Breakwater Beach

  • Northcott Mouth Beach

  • Sandymouth Bay

  • Duckpool Beach

  • Black Rock Beach

  • Millook Beach

The safety of yourself and your pooch is paramount. Read the warnings before visiting any beaches, keep an eye on the tides, and don’t swim unless there is a lifeguard present. Check out this handy guide from the South West Coast Path Association.
