By The Beach is exactly what its names suggests – it’s literally by the beach! In no more than a minute your toes will be sinking into the soft sands of Widemouth Bay. This is a haven for sandcastle building, shell hunting or soaking up the sun’s rays on a warm rug. Or immerse yourself in the Atlantic ocean; a swim, a surf or a paddle in the shallows will give you a nourishing does of ‘vitamin-sea’.
WELCOME INSIDE
The property offers superb accommodation. Its contemporary styling and attention-to-detail furnishings combine to create a holiday home of dreams. The open-plan living area offers views over the ocean, making post-breakfast surf checks simplicity itself. Wood abounds and the use of earthy tones echoes the sand dunes beyond. Bedrooms are spacious and there are bathrooms for each.
STEP OUTSIDE
Why not pop to the local shop for some of the freshest local fish and then dine in al fresco style as you enjoy the fruits of your labour? Or put your feet up, rest your head back and be lulled by the gentle sound of the waves. Let yourself be calmed by the influence of the sea as you relax in the ample garden, or stroll down to the beach after dinner and watch the sun set in the company of your loved ones.

Widemouth Bay is ideally situated for the best beach holiday ever, with some great restaurants and a superb daily fresh fish counter at the local corner shop. A five minute drive along the coast road will take you to Bude for a wider range of boutiques, galleries and eateries and, once you’re in the car, why not seize the opportunity to visit one of north Cornwall’s other great towns and villages?

There are two double bedrooms, one bunk bedroom and one twin bedroom. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite with the twin adjacent to the fourth bathroom.
LIVING AND DINING
The living area is Scandi-inspired with a cosy sofa and Ercol easy chairs and a wood-burning stove. The dining table comfortably sits eight while the kitchen has a Bosch double oven and grill, a four-ring hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

PARKING
There is reserved parking for one car. Further parking can be found at the adjacent Black Rock Sands car park charge at approximately £30 per week. There are three visitor spaces but these cannot be not reserved so are available on a first come, first served basis.
PETS
Dogs are accepted with prior arrangement. By the Beach is situated at the south end of Widemouth Bay Beach, which is dog friendly.
GOLFERS
The links at the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club are just a short drive away and Elite West Holidays' guests benefit from reduced fees.
SURFERS
The local surfing beach is on the doorstep
WALKERS
You’re just a short walk from the renowned South West Coast Path giving you access to 500 miles of coastal walks in either direction.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at ‘By the Beach’. One of the best holiday homes we’ve ever stayed in! It was brilliant.

We had such a wonderful holiday, and found the house was impressively well equipped - particularly for children. The communication with the team was excellent, and they were hugely responsive when we reached out with any issues or questions, both before and during our break. We loved the house and can’t wait to come and stay again soon!
