WELCOME INSIDE

Set across three floors, Wyvern offers ample space for everyone to relax and unwind. Having been meticulously refurbished with a maritime-inspired aesthetic, there’s a seamless blend of modern comfort and inherent charm that winds its way throughout the house. The primary living spaces are on the ground floor and provide an ideal setting for gatherings of extended families and friends. The lounge, situated at the front of the house, offers peaceful views of the golf course and is the perfect place to gather for a cosy film night, or just to spend quality time together. Double doors can be opened up to flow into the dining room next door, which enjoys access to the back garden. The well-equipped kitchen features ample work tops and a large dual-range oven, so there’s plenty of space to cater to the needs of large groups. Towards the rear of the ground floor, you’ll find a generously sized utility area, family bathroom and a second lounge which is styled as a games room. The room is an ideal den for children as it comes complete with table football and PS4 — or for those wanting their own space.

All seven bedrooms, six or which are ensuite, are located upstairs and vary in size.

On the first floor you’ll find the principal bedroom — a superking ensuite — which enjoys serene golf course views and sea glimpses. There’s also a king ensuite, double ensuite and a bunkbed room. On the top floor are the remaining three bedrooms consisting of a king ensuite — which also has golf course views and sea glimpses — as well as a double ensuite and twin ensuite. With so many choices, there’s options for everyone!

STEP OUTSIDE

In the back garden you’ll find one of Wyvern’s best features — the fabulous hot tub, which can be enjoyed at any time of the year, whether that’s after an action-packed day on the beach or exploring the miles and miles of South West Coast Path. Take care of tired muscles and enjoy a relaxing soak here. As well as the hot tub you’ll find outdoor seating in the back garden, so you can enjoy a sheltered barbecue on a summer’s evening and there’s also a safe place to store surf boards and bikes. The outdoor hose is also perfect for rinsing off sand and muddy dogs — so wetsuits can be rinsed off, hung up and ready for the next day of adventures…

VENTURE FORTH

There’s so many things to love about Wyvern — from its open and airy ambience, to its ideal location between the town and beach, or the gorgeous hot tub for ultimate relaxation — this large Bude holiday home is a wonderful haven to escape to. The golden sands of Crooklets and Summerleaze beaches — which were both awarded prestigious Blue Flag status in 2023 — are just an easy stroll away, as is Cornwall’s oldest and biggest tidal pool. Bude has an array of cafes, shops and restaurants to enjoy, whilst the coastline is a hub of water sport activity — try one of the many surf schools on offer, such as Bude Surfing Experience who offer surf, paddle boarding and SUP yoga lessons. We also love the array of bedrooms to choose from which offers flexible sleeping arrangements for multi-generational families and friend groups; keen golfers will enjoy the close proximity to Bude golf course, making it an ideal retreat for a golfing break. If you’re thinking about visiting out of season, wrap up warm and explore the wild beauty of the South West Coast Path, then head back to Wyvern and enjoy a relaxing evening in the hot tub.

Prices and Availability

Fantastic house great for large families or groups, spotlessly clean. Equipment and furnishing to a high standards, couldn't wish for any more. Handy for everything beach, shops, exploring, plus ease of parking - wonderful.Fabulous property in a fabulous location – we’ve loved it and will be back. Highly recommend and thank you.Spotlessly clean, bright and airy property. Very well equipped especially in the kitchen. Enough crockery and cutlery to fill both dishwashers!

Even a bread maker (sadly unused by us – maybe next time) and many large serving dishes, perfect for our large family meals. Very dog friendly. An area had been specially laid out for our Westie – mats, bowls, a basket and even a jar of dog treats. Lovely touch. Young and even the older adults enjoyed the hot tub, again spotlessly clean with maintenance every week. Above all, we would like to thank James, the property manager, for his care and assistance. Every question answered very promptly and made our stay custom made, with the addition of an extra chair (for an elderly relative) and extra advice on local activities. A very happy holiday was had by all. We thoroughly recommend.
