There are stunning coves nearby at Spekes Mill and Hartland Quay or big sandy surfing beaches at Westward Ho! and Sandymouth. Bideford lies close by from where trips to Lundy Island can be booked. Further afield there is the Dartmoor National Park or hire a bike and explore the Tarka Trail. An ideal holiday base. Shops and pub 5 miles.
