Croft House

When John Masefield wrote his famous poem he must have been staying at Croft House. There are four en-suite bedrooms and an outdoor hot shower to wash away the sand and salty sea after a day riding the cornish surf; or perhaps you have spent the day lounging on the sand reading that book you have promised yourself you will read when you have time.

This luxury self catering holiday cottage also has a small garden and patio area for BBQs, a lovely first floor kitchen and sitting room with balcony, which means you can enjoy the wonderful sea views and spectacular Cornish sunsets from the comfort of your own home. There is a small local shop, with a fantastic fresh fish counter, The Bay View Inn with good quality ales and excellent food (fish and chip takeway in season) and Elements restaurant which serves wonderful food all within walking distance. Bude town is a short drive along the coast road.

Dogs are welcome and there is a dog "home" in the garage with access to the garden. With so much to do and so much to see at the end of the day you will slip into bed and finish off the poem
